Everything you copy, beautifully organised.
Hold ⌘ and tap V to bring back anything you copied. Pastero sorts text, links, images and code into smart sections, saves a preview of every link, and keeps secrets out of the wrong hands.

Paste anything you copied, without leaving the keyboard.
Pastero keeps ⌘ V working the way it always has. A quick press pastes your latest copy. Keep holding and the switcher opens over the app you're in.
-
Step 1
Hold ⌘
Press Command and keep it down, as if you were about to paste.
-
Step 2
Tap V to move
Each tap moves one clip back in time. ⇧V or the arrow keys go the other way.
-
Step 3
Let go to paste
Release Command and the highlighted clip lands where your cursor is. esc cancels.
Your whole clipboard, sorted before you go looking.
Open the panel with a shortcut you choose. Every clip lands in a smart section, and search understands plain phrases like “links from github yesterday”.
Notes and tags
Add a note or a few tags to any clip, then find it later with #tag in search.
Edit in place
Fix a typo or trim a snippet right in the panel before you paste it again.
Active and history
Keep the switcher focused on your last 20 clips while hundreds more stay searchable.
Every link you copy comes with a picture of the page.
Pastero opens each link in a private, hidden window and saves a screenshot with the page title. It never uses your cookies or logins. Links are colour-coded by kind, and every site gets its own colour.

Links inside text
Copy a paragraph with three links in it and all three appear in Links on their own.
Save by hand
Paste any address into the Links section to keep it with a preview for later.
Stays private
Previews skip local network addresses and leave no cookies behind.
Screenshots you can find, mark up and keep.
Copied images land in a gallery with fast previews. Capture part of the screen, highlight it and add a note, and the marked-up copy is saved next to the original.
Image manager
See dimensions and file size, open a full-window preview, save as PNG, or show the file in Finder.
A habit is a choice that we deliberately make at some point, and then stop thinking about, but continue doing, often every day.
Small changes compound when you repeat them in the same place, at the same time, with the same cue. The cue is what makes the habit automatic.
Change the cue and the routine has nowhere to start.

Pen, highlighter, arrows, shapes and text. Reading a book? Capture the page, highlight the line, add a note.
One key turns a clip into what you actually needed.
Pastero recognises what you copied and offers the conversions that make sense for it. Paste the result, or keep it as a new clip.

Pastero checks where you're pasting. Terminals get plain text, Slack gets Markdown, Mail keeps rich formatting, and links lose their tracking junk on the way.
Short links are expanded and tracking parameters such as utm_, fbclid and gclid are removed before you paste.
Built for the things you shouldn't paste in Slack.
A clipboard sees passwords, tokens and card numbers every day. Pastero spots them, hides them, deletes them on schedule, and keeps them out of anything shared.
Secret guard
API keys, tokens, private keys, card numbers and one-time codes are masked in previews and expire after a few minutes. They never reach a shared board.
Admins set the policy once for the whole team.
Burn after paste
Send a teammate a password or a key as a one-time clip. It deletes itself from the server the moment they paste it.
No more secrets sitting in chat history forever.
End-to-end encrypted
Shared clips are encrypted on your Mac with AES-256-GCM before they leave it. The server only ever sees ciphertext.
Keys live in your Mac's Keychain. They are never derived from MAC addresses or anything else visible on a network.
Share a clip with the right people in one click.
Create roles like Dev, Support or Sales in your account, then share a clip to a role from the panel. Clips sync automatically, or on demand with the sync button.
Role starter boards
A team lead picks a board and everyone in that role gets ready-made snippets with blanks to fill in.
Hi {customer_name}, thanks for reaching out. Your order {order_id} ships today.
Mac to Windows on the same Wi-Fi. No cloud, no account.
Send a clip to a PC or another Mac in the room. Pair once by checking a six-digit code on both screens, and everything after that is encrypted end to end.

- Never leaves your local network
- Free Windows companion app
Check that the same code shows on Studio PC, then pair.
Your clipboard stays yours.
Local first
History lives on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded unless you share it.
Password managers respected
Copies marked private by 1Password, Bitwarden and others are never recorded.

Questions, answered.
How do licences and devices work?
After you buy, you get a 16-character licence key that looks like XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Enter it in Pastero's settings and the Mac registers as one of your devices. You can free a device slot from your account at any time, for example when you replace a computer.
What does one-time mean?
Solo and Family are paid once, with no subscription. The licence doesn't expire. Team plans are billed monthly or yearly because they include cloud storage for shared clips.
How does end-to-end encryption work?
Each device creates its own key pair and keeps the private key in the Keychain. Your team shares a key that is wrapped separately for every member's device, so the server can store and pass along shared clips without being able to read them.
Does Pastero work offline?
Yes. History, search, smart actions, markup and nearby sharing all work without an internet connection. A paid licence is re-checked in the background and keeps working for 14 days offline.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If Pastero isn't right for you, contact us within 14 days of your purchase.
Is there a Windows version?
The free Windows companion app sends and receives clips with Pastero on a Mac over your local network, with no account needed. Full clipboard history is on macOS.
